Site visit of HE Ahmed Bin Nasser Bin Ahmed Al-Mehrzi, Minister of Tourism and signing ceremony of Hotel Management Agreement with Melia Hotels International

Dhabab Resort Project site visit was conducted by HE Ahmed Bin Nasser Bin Ahmed Al-Mehrzi, Minister of Tourism, who was welcomed by the Partners of Dhabab Resort Mr. Abdul Razzaq Ali Issa, Mr. Abdul Wahab Al Balushi, Mr. Aref A. Dasan and Mr. Aiham Ayedeh. Among other honorable guests, the event was attended by HE Wali of Quriyat and HE Wali of Al Amerat as well as the Sheikhs of all the neighboring communities.
During the occasion, a Hotel Management Agreement was signed by Mr. Abdul Razzaq Bin Ali Bin Issa on behalf of Dhabab Resort Partners and Mr. Benjamin Oppl, Development Manager, on behalf of Melia Hotels International.
After the signing ceremony, HE Ahmed Bin Nasser Al-Mehrzi was invited for a tour of the site, led by Mr. Abdul Razzaq Ali Issa and Mr. Aref A. Dasan and accompanied by the distinguished guests and the media. His Excellency expressed his appreciation for the choice of Project’s unique location, strategically selected directly on the pristine beach and in close proximity to a rich variety of touristic attractions. The Project will be a platform to showcase the local heritage and culture and will create a new hospitality destination which will contribute towards development of the tourism industry in the Sultanate of Oman.

Award of Appreciation from the Ministry of Tourism

Dhabab Resort LLC received an award from Ministry of Tourism as appreciation for sponsoring the Second UNWTO/UNESCO Conference of Tourism and Culture that took place in December 2017.
The award was presented by HE Maitha al Mahrouqi, the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Tourism, during celebration of the Arab Tourism Day. Mr. Abdul Wahab Al Balushi and Mr. Aref Dasan participated in the event.
Tourism Exhibition in Quriyat

Dhabab Resort LLC participated in an Exhibition during an event organized by Quriyat Development Company, under the auspices of H.E. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Mahrzi, Minister of Tourism, where a foundation stone for an Integrated Tourism Complex (ITC) was laid in the Willayat of Quriyat.

UNWTO/UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture
11-12 DECEMBER, 2017
Dhabab Resort LLC participated as a Silver Sponsor of the Second UNWTO/UNESCO Conference on Tourism and Culture on 11-12 December 2017, hosted by Oman Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Heritage and Culture at Oman Convention and Exhibition Center.
The Conference was held under the patronage of H.H. Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers of Oman and brought together Minister of Tourism and Ministers of Culture as well as public and private sector stakeholders from all over the world.
